Case closed: what does that mean?

Apr 18, 2021

The NMC will provide the referrer and you with a detailed response if they choose to close the case and not investigate further.

It is quite a new move to send this out, so, if you have not received it please ask your case officer for it, as it is invaluable for both you and potential employers to understand the decision-making.

One of our group agreed to let us share her outcome letter as she felt this was a really good example of the “new approach” in dealing with FtP that the NMC has been saying they are implementing.

Let’s remind them this should happen as a matter of routine when any case is closed.
